Ram or Rahim. Hanuman or Rahman

0

Ram or Rahim. Hanuman or Rahman. Allah or Ishawar. Maybe any one, but beliefs of mine are Parthana or Ibadat.
As usuual I received many many posts of Akshyaytrutia… hardik abhinandan, congratulations including Mubarak ho…. Salam sahab. In all the meaning is the same. Every one wrote about prosperity & bhaichara and his all wishes to me for a good future.
But in it the one post I got from Shri A. M. Pathan wishing me at the eve of Akshyaytrutia. I rang him directly asking his ” HALL- CHAL..” He spoke to me the same way he happened to be in Press Room, Mumbai. Actually M. A. Pathan was incharge of our Press Room and he was as PRO, of BSNL, Mumbai. It became MTNL after that.
Shri M. A. Pathan was simple and was speaking very less for my work if I took it to him for any journalist problem. Relationship developed and he became my good friend even though he was in charge of the Press Room. He was an officer friend as Public Relations Officer of Govt. of India, Bharat Sanchar Bhavan.
Road map of destiny of a man is unknown but past is known to we all. Mr. Pathan was from Solapur and came in Mumbai at his young age for work. He had work here or there in Mumbai and joind govt. services after that. Mrs. Cyclewala got promotion and Pathan came on the same post. I kept a respectable distance from him and I used to speak with him in English. But he use to speak with me in marathi… in marathi language, indeed better than of mine and it makes me to Salam him and to receive his namaskar in the days when I happened to be in Mumbai.
In fact Mumbai CTO PRESS ROOM was in Fort, Area, at the High court Sqare, in front of Parsi Agyari. It was a place to we journalist to rest
and to meet our friends of other news papers. That way a posh cto press room was of 15×30 feets long as long as four lavatories, urinal room and plenty of waters available there at night even. If you want a lunch then you have a plenty options. Go to CTO canteen and have your lunch in 4.50 rupee. Have a snacks at a subsidies cost or take a vada pav or go to nereby restaurant in Fort area to pay as you wish.
So having a Press conferences at Hotel Oberai or at Taj Mahal or to vistis to nereby offices… you have a one place to relax at CTO Press Room. To me it was a place to receive calls in Mumbai. Pager came afterwards for brief period of time but this press room was a separate phone number for we journalists with a 95 dialling facilities to call in Any where in Maharashtra.
This facility closed down in CTO after STD closed by the department with starting number 95.
I started calling Shri A. M. Pathan then as “jee” because he was anxious to note down my message if came on the press number. To me if the message is important to call urgently it was PRO’s number he Allowed me to use. That way ending with 55 number was for journalists, and 66 ending digit was for PRO separately with an additional number of PBX attached with an intercom.
That way Shri M. A. Pathan was not only rich in Marathi language but in urdu-alfaj as well. Rich in receiving any man at his door and to send him return after solved off his problem. He was for an authority and for the officers came in Mumbai from other places to stay. So he was known to any officer in BSNL and more than that he was kind to the relatives of patients who use to come in Mumbai for treatments.
I saw him reach in his qualities when he used to call back for booking of ones own outstation officer. Adjusting one with another officer on his own request if a room is not available. He attended one of my talks at Islam Jimkhana, Marine Line Mumbai along with his son where this Pathan a Islam cultured man make his debute as one member of my motivation talk.
He sent me wishes for this Akshytrutia, but I could not responded him by any wish. I just rang him after that and asked about his health. He told me that he is living now in Seawood, New Mumbai. In all his action he is a rich man and now again rich in having his flat in Seawood vicinity after that of Nerul Flat.
I notably find him a man of rich qualities so his selfy I could not guess where behind a Mandir or Masjjit is there. I concluded it both as a place of worship for both Hindu & Muslim. Really Shri A. M. PATHAN is rich in his culture. Do you agree with me sir. Then I want to make it known for your knowledge that in his name “A” Stands for “AMIR.” That I am told by his son named as “Rahis”.
“Ham sabhi ke yaisehi nam hai… ade tede” he told once. But I conclude, you may stand before any temple, Dargah or before any place. It will be a place of prayers. Rich in talk, rich in quality and rich to make surroundings happy by your “ade-tede” plausible talk.
