You are a congressman. And I became a sandwich of both congress & RSS in my school days. My late teacher Mrs. Makati Damle had many stories about these political scenarios. She had had all the congresses in her house before she married. After marriage, there was an RSS culture in her family, including a devoted Civil Engineer, her husband late Nursing Damle. She was my class teacher in the IXth & Xth classes.
Malti Damle, my teacher used to pay me one rupee on 1st of every month for the services I use to render her. I used to go to Mata-Kacheri Post Office to make a money order for her Nasik sister.
That way her late husband was more kind and was kind to help his staff as well. He was helpful to me even. After his death my mother teacher had a huge property and cash deposits in banks.
In 1986 I got married to a Nasik girl. And my teacher-mother spent all the expenses of my engagement. Actually my engagement was held in her house “SHIV GUMPHA” at Laxmi Nagar, Nagpur.
She had her own written “MANGLASTKE” on the marriage ceremony held at Nasik in the Nasik Merchants Co-operative Bank Hall. It was great for me when men from Industries attended my marriage, came to know about my biography as a student through the spoken paras of that mangalastake.
Then she took me along with her to Chitrakoot in MP, Banda at UTTAR Pradesh and to New Delhi many times. She was an active member in RSS and an executive member in a team of Late Nanajee Deshmukh, a teacher of late Anal Bihari Vajpayee, our Ex-Prime Minister.
She introduced me as a journalist & her manus putrid to then PM Chandrasekhar jeep and to CM Amravati. I met Ratan Tata, governors of MP & UP state and many more dignitaries at Chitrakoot. At Banda in UP state I came to know the work of RSS at Nepal-india boundaries of then young NANA-JEE DESHMUKH, as a swayamsevak of RSS.
I still remember being witness to an episode that Late Nana Jee Deshmukh entered the venue on the day of his birthday celebration on the ELEPHANT at Banda, I know. When Nanaji entered the venue on elephant, an old man told the old days of NANA who used to take his meals at his home once in a month and used to sleep at night with his NADA ( cotton belt) tied with his bicycle. The bicycle was given to him by RSS, to make publicity of HINDUISUM, I am told.
