“NAT LATE ATUL PARCHURE”
My sister from America sent me a clip of Atul. That way Atul name is very dear to me. Atul Bhusari was my classmate in Master of Fine Art (DRAMA) and he was a born actor. Any role given by our teacher … Atul used to stand there, he was first in action to perform it. Kotiwan sir, in fact gave me one role and after he annoyed he told the story of great actor, that he had been slapped … and the role then was being appreciated. This slapped story was infact for me told to the class. Performances of any role was HAT KA MAIL to ATUL, my class mate. He was first class in playing a women role even he was aboy. The role of CHHAKKA (6+1 women) played by Atul Bhusari still I remember. But he retired as RDC from Nagpur collectorate. You should have chosen a profession of actor, once I said to him when he met me when he was there in Nagpur as Dy. Municipal Commissioner post. Sharad, … he said, POTACHI VYAVASTA PRATHAM KARAVI LAGTE. And he made me GAPPA.
Yes, in deed, life is an adjustment. Circumstances prevailed man or women to act, to be acted as per situation. And I remembered my sister who now stay with his Engineer son in America. She is post graduate of those days when women as in sercives was not there in the Indian Culture. We used to stand outside the class … in-between two periods intervals, and used to wait for teacher to come. It was little a punishment to wait outside of the class room but that was PRATHA, she repeated me most of the times. My MAMA even he retired as a Principal did not allow her to joined services.
Atul PARCHURE, an actor of Marathi rangbhoomi is no less than any other sigma. There are two places of his birth. One on Google says that birth place is PUNE and the second one wrote Mumbai as his birth place. I shall not argue about his birth place but his death story, is sad to me and it saden to the people of MARATHI RANGBHOOMI.
I saw ATUL PARCHURE ever before on TV show in which he played the role of young boy who did not go after services. He puts his xerox shop in Kokan and able to get his survival. Indeed the role he played in that TV serial was splendid for me. ___Marathi Manus Go After Services, but xerox shopee of Late Atul is in my memory. It is more stringent in his stagnent way of RANGBHOOMI. To the youths he gave a message to start small business, in this episode, I still remember.
Was he at the heigh atleast equal of PL, or he was a hero of masses like marathi actor Dada Kondke, Nana Patekar in olden days hero Ramesh Deo or alike so and so on.
In my eyes he is more than that. He used to play his role in such a way that thousands will go on to accept his words as a man of his own family. And as a actor even though he came in film he was to be known a Marathi Natak Artist.
To me, his role in drama ARE BHAU …DOK-K NAKO KHAU, BAJAR BATTU were the first class drama, my
friends told. Yes, his Demise is a loss. Because in every word of his, its flow was of an education, I agree.
